It is warming up towards seasonal values now. However, the wind is blowing hard enough to ruffle the feathers of the red polls who have been regular visitors today. The only other birds to visit are chickadees. The lowly house sparrow has not visited for days now. I gather that their numbers are decreasing in this and other areas.
