We left for a trip to the city (Brandon, Manitoba) about an hour or so after daylight. I saw only a couple of sparrows at the feeder before we left. However along the road we saw a few ravens in two different places and also two large flocks of red polls. I was rather surprised to see any birds as it is very windy with windchills about minus forty three C.
