Yesterday was Valentine's day. There were no surprise bird appearances! The weather is a little less cold and traffic at the bird feeder was moderate. However, there were only red polls and a few chickadees. On a trip to the next town for a Valentine buffet I spotted one lone raven. His sweetheart was nowhere to be seen.
