High wind chill at the feeder

It was cold and windy this morning with wind chills in the minus thirties. The birds must have been huddling somewhere to retain warmth. There was one fat pine grosbeak that visited the feeder several times. It seemed puffed up. Maybe that kept it warm.
Aside from the grosbeak there were a few chickadees that rushed to the feeder and then away again not stopping to rest! I think the photo is of a pine grosbeak just before dark!
