Downy woodpecker, Pine Grosbeak
Later today I observed two rosy hued pine grosbeaks at the feeder and later still a downy woodpecker. I assume it is a downy. Hairy woodpeckers are not very common in this area and I believe it is a larger bird than this one.

A very tattered pine grosbeak
Poor navigation
High wind chill at the feeder
A few chickadees
Ruffed Grouse
Two Pine Grosbeaks
A foggy day
Another no bird day
At least a few!
Absolute zero
The Winter doldrums
Where are all the birds?
A decrepit red poll
A boring day at the feeder
Little Activity
Finally a grosbeak
Trip to the dump
A Dull Day
Sick Red Poll
Day of the red polls
Almost zero
Two more species at least!
A Cold Morning
